Guitarists Brian Citro and Alejandro Urzagaste met while studying with Fareed Haque at Northern Illinois University. Earning reputations as two of Chicago’s premier guitarists, they’ve joined forces with bassist Alex Austin and drummer Mike August in a new double-guitar quartet, inspired by the mid-’90s Pat Metheny and John Scofield album I Can See You House from Here. The group performs original music from Brian’s upcoming release, Keep Moving (Home), on Calligram Records, and music from Alejandro’s group, Flow, featuring Bill Carrothers. Flow recorded at Pro Musica for their release “This From That,” (2019).
