1️⃣ I acknowledge, agree, and represent that I understand the nature of bicycling activities and that I am qualified, in good health, and in proper physical condition to participate. I understand the ride-out will be conducted on public pavements and facilities open to the public, where travel hazards are expected. If at any time I believe conditions to be unsafe, I will immediately discontinue participation.

2️⃣ I fully understand that:
• (a) Bicycling involves risks and dangers of serious bodily injury, including permanent disability, paralysis, and death (“Risks”).
• (b) These Risks may result from my own actions, those of others, the conditions of the ride, or negligence.
• (c) There may be other unforeseen Risks or losses.
• (d) I fully accept and assume all such Risks and responsibilities for any losses, costs, or damages I may incur as a result of participating.

The purpose of this ride is to deepen your understanding of Brompton bikes, ride courses designed to fully enjoy Bromptons, rediscover the city, experience new ways to enjoy it, and experience the lifestyle that comes with owning a Brompton. We guide participants through folding techniques and shifting the internal gear hub—a common source of confusion for first-time riders—while riding. By comparing different bikes, we help riders deeply understand each model's characteristics, supporting them in making an informed choice and purchase.

Gut ins neue Jahr gerutscht? Hoffentlich, denn am 15. Jänner machen wir wieder einen kleinen Ausflug. Wir treffen uns etwas später als gewohnt, um 17:30 Uhr in der Junction, dort gönnen wir uns einen Kakao gegen die Kälte und um 18:00 Uhr geht es los!

Wir fahren dieses mal zur Kuffner Sternwarte, dort werden wir uns eine kleine Führung geben lassen und dann in die unendlichen Weiten des Weltalls abtauchen.

Pausen machen wir keine, die Route ist sehr überschaubar.

Routenbeschreibung:
Wir starten in der Brompton Junction in der Lerchenfelderstrasse 15. Wir gehen nochmal kurz die Basics durch und starten dann geschlossen durch die Stadt zum Donaukanal. Weiter geht es durch den Prater, über die Donaubrücke in den 22. Bezirk. Von dort ist es nur noch ein Katzensprung bis nach Hirschstetten.

Fahrniveau: Chill / Entspannt Tempo: 20 km/h
Entfernung: weniger als 30 km

Es sind keine Stops entlang der Route geplant - natürlich werden wir die Aussicht genießen, es ist wie immer kein Rennen! Alle Teilnehmenden sind willkommen. Niemand wird zurückgelassen. Alle FahrerInnen, die mit dem Tempo und der Entfernung vertraut sind, sind willkommen!

**Unsere Gemeinschaftsregeln:**

**1.** Sei freundlich. Heiße andere Fahrer willkommen und ermutige sie. Beleidigungen, Beschämungen und Hass werden entfernt, und Zuwiderhandelnde werden gesperrt.
**2.** Deine Sicherheit liegt in deiner Verantwortung. Helme sind Pflicht. Bei Fahrten im Dunkeln ist Beleuchtung vorgeschrieben. Es liegt in der Verantwortung jedes Fahrers, sicherzustellen, dass sein Fahrrad sauber, gut gewartet und voll funktionsfähig ist.
**3.** Alle Fahrräder sind willkommen. Gelegentliche Veranstaltungen nur für Brompton-Fahrräder werden deutlich gekennzeichnet. Kontaktiere deinen örtlichen Brompton-Händler, wenn du für eine Veranstaltung ein Brompton ausleihen möchtest (Teilnahme kann variieren).
**4.** Wenn sich deine Pläne ändern, aktualisiere bitte deine Zusage.
