We will meet at the pt14 Reisinger Rd Boat Ramp at 9am and then shuttle with as few cars as possible to East Fork SP Lake Trail Trailhead between pt17 and pt16.
About 8.5 miles perhaps a bit more, especially since there is a small walk to the parking here. expect a relaxed pace. Almost all off road besides access for parking.

This is the weekend before the Buckeye Trail TrailFest in Columbus and have asked Chapters to have a hike the weekend before since there is a bike in versus a hike in along various segments of the North East West and South of the trail- this being in the South of the trail will be the S (South) "Hike-In" for TrailFest.

Anyone who hikes this and then also registers for TrailFest (to be determined if that is for just one or both days), will be put in a drawing to win a nominal prize.

East Fork State Park - Reisinger Road Boat Ramp

This Day Hike is part of the NEWS "Hike-in" to TrailFest - In this case, the N (North). Since TrailFest is being held in Columbus this year, a regular Hike In just isnt feasible. Instead, each BT Chapter is scheduling a day hike in their area the week prior.

Those who do the Day Hike and then register and come to TrailFest 2024, will be entered in a drawing to win a nominal prize.

We plan to do the following 4 mile hike:
Buckeye, Persing, Bridle, Forest, and Look About Lodge Loop
