Let's pick a board game, or several. I have Bananagrams, Telestrations, Rummikub, Dominoes, and Scrabble. You are welcome to bring your favorite. Let's keep it fairly easy to learn. Depending on number of people, we can all play one game, or break into groups and play several.

I'll provide light snacks and drinks--you're also welcome to bring something but not required.

Costume optional--but highly encouraged!

Join us for **Hump Day Cards** — a relaxed afternoon of laughter, learning, and connection. We’ll meet on the **3rd Wednesday of every month** from 3–5 PM in Portland’s Nason’s Corner area (Host's address will be shared with attendees).
For our **kickoff session, we’ll play Spades** — a fun, easy-to-learn card game that’s perfect for both beginners and experienced players. If you've never played, you're encouraged to find a tutorial on Youtube to at least ge exposure--but we'll go over rules as well. Future meetups may feature other games like Hand & Foot, Poker, or member favorites, and we’ll take suggestions as we go.
🍷 Wine, other beverages, and light snacks will be served. Feel free to bring something if you wish.
🎲 Beginners welcome — no experience required!
**Our vibe:** No gossip, no griping — just kindness, curiosity, and connection.

This event repeats on the **first Friday of every month**. 10-2 is just a window; feel free to come and go whenever works best for you.

**Free Parking:** There are several parking spots around the building, as well as a small parking lot behind the building on Elm St.

You will typically find us on the second floor, unless there is another private event going up upstairs. Hope to see you there!
