The Databricks London Meetup is a friendly, in-person evening for data and AI people to swap ideas, learn something genuinely useful, and meet others doing similar work.

Expect a relaxed start with networking, then a couple of short, practical talks from community speakers on real-world Databricks topics (often with demos and lessons learned), followed by plenty of time for questions, pizza, drinks, and more chat with the organisers and the wider community.

This April we're kicking off the month with our regular meetup, and will announce the speaker(s) soon. We're also back at the end of April for DevConnect as well!

April 2026 - Databricks London Meetup

Databricks London

Databricks are bringing **DevConnect** back to London for an evening of technical chat, practical demos, and time with people who build the platform. This one is **organised and hosted by the Databricks Developer Relations team**, at the Databricks London office.
Expect a mix of new features, real-world lessons, and the sort of “how does that work then?” conversations you do not get from a slide deck.

**Who’s it for?**
If you work anywhere around data engineering, analytics, ML, or GenAI and you like getting into the details, you’ll be in good company.

**What you’ll get out of it**

* **Deep dives** into Lakebase, Genie, Knowledge Assistant, Unity Catalog, and getting AI agents into production with MLflow.
* **People you can actually ask questions to**: Databricks folks across DevRel, product, field engineering, and MVPs.

* **7:15pm – 7:45pm:** *Operationalising high quality AI agents: experimentation and evaluation through to production with MLflow*

Bristol, we’re back.

After a cracking first meetup in February, we’re getting the Databricks Bristol community together again for a relaxed evening of practical chat, great content, familiar faces - and meeting new ones.

Massive thanks (again) to **iO Associates** for hosting and championing the group locally, and to **Advancing Analytics** and **Databricks** for backing it and helping us build a great community in Bristol. We're also grateful to the Data Bristol meetup and others for building such a great community already. Now, we get to build something special for Databricks.

What to expect - a relaxed evening of **good people, practical Databricks chat, and networking** (the kind where you actually meet people, not just collect LinkedIn connections you’ll never speak to again). Whether you’re deep in Spark, living your best Lakehouse life, or just Databricks-curious, you’re very welcome.

We’re locking in the main talk now. If you fancy speaking, we’re very open to talks from a variety of angles - it could be about cutting edge Databricks features, or perhaps real-world “here’s what worked, here’s what didn’t” stories. No sales pitches though!
