Join the Joy Scouts for First Friday Art Walk!

Joy Scouting means looking for simple, accessible ways to add more delight, curiosity, and connection to everyday life.

I’m planning to go to the First Friday Art Walk and would love to make it a casual group outing. This is a free event, so there’s no ticket or registration needed unless you choose to buy food, drinks, art, or anything else while you’re there.

I usually park at West High School, near 10th Avenue and Galapago St. Parking there costs $5.

This will be casual and flexible: no formal program, no pressure to stay the whole time, and no expectation that everyone has to move through the art walk together the entire night.

This West Denver peer support gathering takes place on the first Wednesday of each month from 6:30–8:00 pm at Belmar Library in Lakewood.

A small gathering focusing on autistic and ADHD adults, but open to any neurodivergent folx, who want a calm space to share openly, be heard without judgment, and connect with others who understand.

You are welcome to talk about burnout, executive dysfunction, overwhelm, relationships, support needs, work stress, life transitions, or whatever else feels important. You are also welcome to simply listen.

**Space is limited to 8 people total. If your plans change, please update your RSVP so someone on the waitlist can take your spot.**

**Before you RSVP:** This gathering is for adults who are **queer and/or neurodivergent** and interested in demi, poly, or relationship-expansive ways of connecting. It is not a dating event, speed-dating night, hookup space, or partner-finding service.

Demi Poly Peers is a space for connection, community, and honest conversation. Together, we’ll talk about relationships, attraction, and intimacy; about boundaries, consent, and communication; and about people-pleasing, self-trust, and building closeness without pressure or performance.

This is a place to show up as honestly as you can, at your own pace. You do not need to be polished, certain, outgoing, or easy to categorize. The hope is that people can feel seen, respected, and accepted as they are while connection has room to unfold naturally.

This group is likely a better fit for people who value emotional awareness, self-reflection, and slower forms of trust-building. You do not need to have everything figured out, but you should be willing to notice your impact, respect other people’s limits, and approach others with care.
