We are a diverse group of individuals working to improve our communication skills. We support one another as we give speeches, practice thinking on our feet, and take on the duties that make meetings run smoothly. Our meetings give us a chance to get to know one another, join in the laughter, and polish our speaking skills. Sometimes with a duty, sometimes just by being there.
When guests visit our club, they notice our atmosphere is warm and inviting. And while we encourage guests to visit other clubs to find a group that fits them, we're quite confident they'll be back to visit us again. Because at Speak N Eagan, we make learning fun! Check out our Facebook page.
We meet the 2nd and 4th Thursdays of every month online via Zoom. Meetings start at 6:45pm CST, with members and guests arriving from 6:30 for social time. Please contact Jim Miller at 612-986-5995 for the Zoom link. As our guest, you may participate as much or as little as you like. We will offer you an opportunity to share your thoughts at the end of the meeting. Feel free to come back and visit us again, check out other clubs in the area, or join our club. We'd love to have you as a member.

The environment in a Toastmasters club is friendly and supportive. Everyone at a Toastmasters meeting feels welcome and valued—from complete beginners to advanced speakers. In a club meeting, you practice giving prepared speeches as well as brief, impromptu presentations known as Table Topics. There is no rush and no pressure: the Toastmasters program allows you to progress at your own pace. Anyone who speaks during a meeting receives a hearty round of applause and spirited cheers.

Constructive evaluation is central to the Toastmasters philosophy. Each time you give a prepared speech, an evaluator will point out strengths as well as suggest improvements.
