We’re hosting a **"Casual English Meetup"** on **Friday, Dec, 19** in the **Mapogu district** area – and we’d love to have you join us!

🗣️ **No Korean needed – just come and enjoy good conversations in English.**
You’ll meet friendly Korean locals and expats in a relaxed atmosphere – we chat, laugh, and hang out over drinks.
This is **not a class**, just a social gathering for people who want to connect and speak English!

💵 Fee:
\- Free\, no payment includes 1st round \(tea/coffee\) only for foreigners\.

\- Korean people should pay 9000 won for 1st round\.

\- 2nd round \(beer/food\) \- all members including Korean and foreigners should pay for what they have eaten\.

Normally, around **12–14 people** join, including **4 -5 native English speakers or foreigners** from various countries.
There’s **no limit on the number of foreign participants** – as long as you can speak intermediate English, you’re very welcome!

**“Best and Worst Moments of 2025”**

The theme **“Best and Worst Moments of 2025”** invites participants to reflect on the year from both a personal and global perspective. As the year ends, people naturally look back on the challenges, growth, surprises, and changes that shaped their lives. This topic encourages deep self-reflection, emotional openness, and honest conversation, while also helping members understand each other’s backgrounds and experiences.

In this discussion, participants can explore the contrast between their brightest moments and their most difficult ones. The *best moments* often reveal sources of happiness, personal achievement, meaningful relationships, or unexpected opportunities. These moments show what individuals value and what brought them joy or growth in 2025.

On the other hand, the *worst moments* provide a chance to talk about struggles — whether emotional, financial, academic, professional, or relational. Sharing difficult experiences allows members to express vulnerability, build empathy, and connect with each other on a deeper level. It also highlights resilience and the lessons learned through hardship.

This is an open topic. In the case of an open topic, one member of each group shares the topic they want to talk about, and the other members join the conversation by asking questions and discussing.
