Duck River + Campout at Henry Horton = Summer! Lets go kayaking on the Duck river for 5 miles with the River Rat outfitter and camping with a campfire at Henry Horton State Park. Arrive Friday night for camping, campfire, and smores. Saturday we kayak the Duck river gentle current is a relaxing ride down the Duck. We will use the river rate outfitter. I have two camp sites reserved so I have spots for 3 tents. The site #16 (me and Adam can share with 1 tent (split the fee each $50 for the weekend). The other site is #34 it can be shared with two tents. These are RV sites so they have electricity. The split fee for one of my sites is $50 for the weekend. Please send the sit split fee to me via venmo @deefirrone or cashapp $deefirrone. You can bring your RV or get a solo site at the Henry Horton State Park. I can't stress enough how important it is to reserve now. This a very popular park and will sell out. If you even think you want to go, grab a site now. You can always cancel it if you can't come or let someone take it over.

We will use river rat outfitter. You can bring your own boat and launch with a shuttle service for $20. If you need to rent a kayak that is $35 with launch and shuttle service. We will pot luck Saturday night so bring your own main dish/protein and a side to share. We will campfire at site #16. Please bring some firewood to share.

Kayak the Duck River Campout Henry Horton State Park

A group paddle that is sure to start your Halloween season off with a scream. Park your brooms witches and wizards and paddles up for a spooky group paddle. Come dressed to impress as a good or not to good witch or wizard. Get creative and let your spooky imagination go wild. The best witch or wizard will win the costume contest judge by crowd approval.

We will meet at Shelby Farms, Memphis, TN and launch from the public paddle launch beach at 10 am. Plan for a group picture, costume contest and a fun morning of paddling. Bring your kayaks and paddle boards and join us, all welcome.

Gone For Adventure New Orleans 2026! Let the good times roll in the big easy February 27 to March 1, 2026. We will start spring off early with an urban adventure to New Orleans. Join us for a weekend adventure packed with Cajun food, voodoo ghost tour, live jazz shows, river cruises and the opportunity to eat your way across NOLA.

This is an adults only trip to the big easy for 12 adventurers. We will start our trip at 2 pm Friday, February 27, 2026 and wind down around lunch time Sunday, March 1, 2026.

The trip will include paid tickets for activities and shows. There will be a group rate for the trip hotel and a planned itinerary to maximize the fun and minimize the planning stress.

The trip includes a planned itinerary of activities and shows, tickets for the planned activities are included no need to research or purchase individual tickets. Our fantastic group of adventurers will be ready to take on the big easy with ease having all of the activities and shows reserved, bought and paid for and arranged in advance.

Get there any way you like by car, train or plane but get there for the weekend to begin at 2 pm on Friday, February 27th, 2026. We will have a group rate for a local hotel convenient to the French Quarter. Make your reservations early to secure your room. We will play, party, eat and dance the weekend until around lunch time on Sunday, March 1, 2025. Each adventurer is responsible for their own transportation, hotel, food and beverages.

This wet, wild and action packed trip will be one to remember. The itinerary plan is for 20 adventures to travel May 21 to 25th, 2026 for an outdoor adventure palooza! Picture it, the Carolinas tiger lily seasonal kayaking, white water rafting, ziplining, rock wall, solo deep jumping, ropes course, live music, camping, and hiking! Don’t miss this trip that will be epic for the outdoor adventure lover in you. Join this group of fun-loving adventures for an action-packed long weekend over Memorial Day weekend May 2026. Start summer off with an epic outdoor palooza.

The reservations are limited to 20 adventurers.

Cost: . The trip fee includes activity tickets, parking fees, camp sites fees (tent or RV), trip coordination, making reservations, and planning details. Transportation, food, camping equipment are on your own. No need to bring your kayak. The kayaks and shuttle fees are included.
