Qigong is a practice of self-healing and mindfulness. It activates the body’s natural healing response by stimulating the circulation of bodily fluids, and by promoting the flow of the body’s electric and magnetic currents. During Qigong practice, we place awareness on our breath, and any bodily sensations and emotions. It’s an opportunity to feel more deeply inside ourselves and become more aware of what we are feeling. Qigong is a meditative practice in that we focus our awareness on our life force. We give our minds something constructive and helpful to focus on. Qigong practice teaches us to embrace the cycles of nature and life rather than resisting them.

Patrick Giguere holds an M.S. from the Colorado School of Traditional Chinese Medicine (2012), and a B.S. from the United States Naval Academy (2004). Patrick is a fully licensed and insured Acupuncturist in North Carolina and Massachusetts. He is certified in medical Qigong, a certified Reiki Master, and well-versed in rehabilitative exercise. He has helped many patients with a wide variety of conditions, including musculoskeletal injuries and pain, neurological conditions, sleep disorders, digestive issues, stress/anxiety, migraines, chronic illness, and more.

✨After settling in, you will enjoy a delicious cup of ceremonial grade cacao to help open the heart space and get ready to enter a beautiful healing experience. Indi will guide you through a Reiki meditation and will be sending Reiki to the group as well as to each of you individually. We look forward to seeing you there!

✨The cacao is vegan friendly, and contains only ceremonial grade cacao, unsweetened oat milk, a small amount of maple syrup as well as cinnamon.

India Hopkins began her studies in the healing arts in 2018, in the Appalachian Mountains in Southwest Virginia with her teacher, Darlene Himes. She completed her level 1 and 2 Holy Fire Reiki Certification that year and received her Reiki Master Certification in 2020. Indi has since gone on to receive her Karuna Reiki Master Certification in 2022. Indi’s personal healing journey began back in 2010 after many years of struggling with both physical and mental illness. She has since devoted much of her time to learning how to safely tap into the emotional body, energy body and her subconscious mind to experience healing on a deep level. Indi is now studying Contemporary Shamanism with her teacher, Marie Allred. She is also has completed Level II training for accessing the Akashic Records with Ahna Hendrix.
