***Advanced Workout Paddle***
This is a workout practice for anyone that wants some endurance training. We head north for an hour of paddling.

**Be on time.** Get ready quickly. We will be on the water by 6:30am, off the water by 7:45am. We will close up and leave by 8am.

**Prerequisites for all:**

* **You can prepare all your equipment in 15 minutes with no assistance**
* active volunteers who helped us run our public program in 2025 (volunteered > 4 shifts)
* you have an advanced time trial
* you have attended an advance/elite trip in 2025

Advanced Workout Paddle

This is a workout and resistance practice for advanced paddlers. We will head north against increasing ebb. Space is limited and priority will be given to those who haven’t already attended or signed up for a practice in the week and our guides.

Be on time at 5:45 PM. Be able to get ready quickly without assistance and self launch and land. We will be on the water by 6:15 pm, turn around by 7:15 pm, off the water by 7:45 pm. Sunset will be at around 7:40 pm.

Drysuits required (we have some to borrow).

**PREREQUISITES TO RSVP**

1. Active volunteer-volunteered at least 4 times in 2025
2. you have an advanced time trial
3. you have attended an advance/elite trip in 2025
4. Prepare equipment in 15 minutes without assistance
5. Self launch and land independently without assistance

**COME PREPARED**

* Quick dying and warm clothes
* socks (to wear inside drysuit) and closed toe water shoes
* Towel
* Change of clothes
* Sunscreen, hat
* Water in a reusable bottle
* all around white boat light

**TIMELINE**
5:45 PM - Meet at HCCB. Prepare equipment.
**6:00 PM - Cut off time to arrive. Safety briefing.** you will not be able to join if you are not present
6:10 PM - bring boats to beach
6:15 PM - paddle north
7:15 PM - Turn around
7:45 PM - Return to boathouse and clean up
8:45 PM - Training ends

Boat Repair Workshop #4 at Downtown Boathouse

Hi everyone!

We’re excited to announce that our annual boathouse party will be on **Saturday, May 2 at 5:30pm** at bwé kafé (uptown location in Hoboken). All active volunteers from the 2025 season are invited!

We’ll have catered food, so please mention in the RSVP questionnaire if you have any dietary restrictions!

This will be a BYOB event - just a reminder that anything you bring in, you’ll need to bring out.

We’re really looking forward to celebrating together, sharing some updates about the upcoming season, recapping this past year (including a financial overview), and just spending time with this amazing community. Can’t wait to see you all there! 🎉
