The title of this Mendix Meetup has a double meaning: it sounds like *Mendix 11*, while a direct Dutch translation would mean *the life of AI*. Of course, this is intended, as we want to explore the new Mendix 11 features with a strong focus on Artificial Intelligence in this Meetup. 🤖

We will review the most impactful improvements introduced in version 10, then dive into the innovations coming with Mendix 11. A major focus will be on artificial intelligence, highlighting how Mendix is themselves expanding their AI capabilities. By the end of the evening, you’ll have a clear view of what the LCAP can offer to us, the developers. No more secret functionalities. 🔐

Juriaan is a Low code consultant at delaware with experience in both the Mendix LCAP and the MS Power Platform. He has spent some time recently exploring the recent capabilities and limits of the Mendix platform, going from workflow to UI to AI. Today, he will share his findings with you in an interactive session.

Michael Kolbenschlag besitzt eine Leidenschaft für Automatisierung und Kundenorientierung.
Für ihn ist es eine zentrale Frage, wie sich individuelle, also nicht standardisierte Prozesse und Aufgaben automatisieren lassen. Diese Herausforderung gilt es insbesondere im Kundenservice zu meistern, wo Kundenprobleme schnell und persönlich gelöst werden müssen.
Moderne KI-Technologie, die Cloud und Low-Code ermöglichen uns einen völlig neuen Ansatz bei der Suche nach Lösungen, sowohl technisch als auch wirtschaftlich.
Seinen Beruf lernte Michael in einer internationalen Wirtschaftsprüfungs- und Beratungsgesellschaft. Sein Werdegang ging vom Werkstudenten über IT-Berater, Teamleiter bis hin zum Vorstandsmitglied und Equity-Partner, Zuletzt verantwortete er die Prozess- und IT-Beratung im Microsoft- und SAP-Umfeld.
2020 erfüllte sich Michael seinen Traum, die targenio-Plattform als Unternehmer mit einem hervorragenden Team zu entwickeln, von der Forschung und Prototypenentwicklung bis hin zum Design, Made in Germany.

**Über Holger Herrmann**
Holger Herrmann ist ein leidenschaftlicher Informatiker. Seit mehr als 20 Jahren arbeitet er als Softwareentwickler und -architekt an Projekten für nationale und internationale Unternehmen.
Gerade die letzten zehn Jahre arbeitete er als Entwickler und Teamleiter an der Realisierung von Software für den Kundenservice. Vor einem Jahr begann er mit einem Team die Entwicklung der targenio-Assistenzplattform, die sie mit Hilfe der Mendix-Entwicklungsplattform auf ein neues Niveau bringen konnten.
Seine Aufgaben innerhalb des Teams sind die eines Produktentwicklers und Architekten. Außerdem überwacht er die Methoden und Prozesse im Produktentwicklungsprozess – von den Geschäftsanforderungen bis zur fertigen Implementierung.
Holger veröffentlicht Beiträge für das Java Magazine und war Referent auf dem mathema campus 2024.

**Über Nicolas Kolbenschlag**
Nicolas Kolbenschlag ist ein KI-Ingenieur mit rund 8 Jahren Erfahrung im Bereich Künstliche Intelligenz und Machine Learning. Nach seinem Studium der Informatik stieg er bei targenio ein, wo er heute in der Produktentwicklung an der targenio Assistenten-Plattform für den Kundenservice im Maschinen- und Anlagenbau arbeitet. Sein Fokus liegt auf der Entwicklung intelligenter, lernfähiger Systeme, die die Automatisierung und den Support in komplexen Serviceumgebungen verbessern.

Mendix offers standard actions for publishing and consuming APIs, but as you might know, many essential functionalities such as logging, error handling, request/response caching, and retry mechanisms need to be implemented manually. This can be time-consuming and repetitive, especially since the requirements for most projects tend to be similar. In this presentation + demo we will:
