Leave for Chimayo after our monthly meeting. Ride to Santuario de Chimayo via Tramway to north NM 14. Take NM 599 north to US 285/US 84 north. We will gas up and take a break in Pojoaque. Then we will continue north to NM 503 to the High Rd to Taos and approx 7-8 miles turn right into Santuario. We will explore the Santuario and then enjoy a lunch afterwards to be determined. Return home via 599 south to I 25 south to the ABQ area.

Group Riding Course. This is an opportunity to learn how to ride in group, what the protocols are for group Riding, what your individual responsibilities are in the group, the responsibilities of the lead rider and the tail gunner. This will be valuable information to have a successful ride and an enjoyable time with your fellow riders. You may learn one thing that will impact you and make your group Riding experience more enjoyable.

This event is being posted now due to hotel availability becoming more limited as time goes on. If you are interested in joining this ride, you need to make room reservations ASAP. There are several hotels you can choose from that are listed on the website “fivestaterun.com”. I have made my reservations at the Best Western Plus Guyman Hotel and Suites located on 1102 NE 6th St. Phone number 580-338-0800. Rooms start at $114. Support Iron Thunder Motorcycle Club based out of Guymon, Oklahoma for Mother’s Day weekend 2025 and enjoy riding 300 miles through five states in one day. Much more information will follow as it gets closer.
