Welcome to the **Discover Filipino Martial Arts Meetup**—a welcoming community for adults who are curious about learning Kali (Filipino Martial Arts) in a fun, relaxed, and beginner-friendly environment.

Whether you're looking to learn practical self-defense, challenge yourself with a new skill, get active, or simply meet great people, this Meetup is designed for you.

Every other week we host a **hands-on Introduction to Kali** where you'll experience the fundamentals of one of the world's most practical and dynamic martial arts. No experience is necessary,
and you don't need to be athletic or in great shape to participate.

During each introductory session you'll:
• Learn the basics of Kali (Filipino Martial Arts)
• Experience practical self-defense concepts
• Develop coordination, movement, and awareness
• Discover why Filipino Martial Arts is respected around the world
• Meet friendly people who enjoy learning and growing together

Our philosophy is simple:
