Join The Corner Gallery and Four First Names for an 8 week improv curriculum. Whether you are a beginner or a twenty year veteran this class is for you.
Beginners–At the end of the semester you will have an understanding of improv acting, increased confidence in creating and making choices and have the ability to play with authenticity, coherence and fun!
Advanced Short Form–At the end of the semester you will have an understanding of advanced short form games, basic rhyming for rap scenes, and advanced acting work. Laugh Tracks Beginner short form or outside equivalent is required for advanced short form.
Advanced Long Form–At the end of the semester you will be able to play with more advanced comedy technique and theory, consistently improvise scenes that resonate, delight and build no matter who you play with and more quickly develop, create and execute a variety of improv forms.
Everyone–Have a better sense of how teamwork can work for everyone!
There will be two performance opportunities in this program, December 4th and December 18th.
Course Begins September 4 and runs every first and third Wednesday of the month until December 18th. You can drop in to each class for $25 for no performance track. Class time: 6:30-9 PM. $200 for the full eight week program. If you are bringing a new student please reach out about referrals.
As a benefit of full performance track you receive free cost of admission to all Corner Gallery shows, jams, and a discounted rate for specialty workshops.

Corner Gals and Pals is a variety style show written by the ladies of The Corner Gallery. Through the night you'll be introduced to new characters, hear a few improvised songs, and maybe even leave home with your own personalized drawing! The Gals are joined by a new special guest each performance who will bring their own flair and style to the show. Come join the gals and their pals and experience improv comedy in a new way!

Laugh Tracks Week #6: Adaptability Curve (How to Take the Train to Crazy Town the Right Way)
Improvisers will:

Identify and adapt to tonal shifts in a scene by finding the rhythm of building a base reality with the unusual thing.
Demonstrate confidence leaning into unusual offers or embracing being low status for the sake of the scene.

We have all been to Thanksgiving and had the thought “I bet mashed potatoes could kick turkey’s butt!” Well, now you can find out if it’s the truth!

Join The Corner Gallery for our Thanksgiving themed Diamond in the Rough Comedy Show–where our players represent a Thanksgiving food and YOU decide who doesn’t get eaten.\* All of the scenes are made up on the spot and more importantly, all of the scenes are judged by YOU.

Thought the performer was hysterical but can’t stand canned cranberry?

Well, you can judge them how you see fit.
