Problemattic Social Cause Jam Session

We have our second hackathon event at Le Wagon on Saturday June 25th. This is your chance to meet other socially-conscious local knowledge workers in Lisbon while working together towards solving important societal issue.

We tackle issues like wealth inequality, human trafficking, hunger & homelessness and the cancer industrial complex. For a complete list of issues visit Problemattic.app and join the forums to see what we've built at previous events.

This event is a monthly all-day hackathon format in which we scramble to execute game-changing projects which can put a real dent in these issues. The best way to participate is to listen to at least one of the podcast episodes on your favorite cause and read up on the solutions that have been proposed for addressing this issue. For this one we will do an orientation strategy dinner on the evening of Wed June 22nd so we can all get the most out of the event.

Lunch is provided to all participants courtesy of Pagely. We do a demo night at the end of the event to show off what we built and usually grab beers afterwards to celebrate. There is no better way to make meaningful relationships than while contributing your skills in the pursuit of solving real problems.
