**It's time to recycle some Christmas trees to make Truckee Meadows Beautiful!** KTMB’s Christmas Tree Recycling Program gives residents an easy alternative to sending trees to the landfill or dumping them in the desert. Keeping trees out of our open spaces reduces fire risk in the summer and the Christmas tree mulch is used for weed abatement and park beautification projects.

**Sign up for a shift or two by messaging here (first, second, or both). Dress warmly! Coffee and refreshments included.**

**First Shift: 1:00-2:30 PM**
**Second Shift: 2:30-4:30 PM**

**Location: Bartley Ranch Regional Park**

Over the last 19 years, **182,000** trees have been recycled through KTMB’s Christmas Tree Recycling program thanks to the help of thousands of volunteers and our many partners including **NV Energy Foundation** and **Washoe County Health District**.
