Produce your own Audiobook - the How-To!

And welcome to our first (and possibly only) free session on How to Produce your Own Audiobook, scheduled for lunchtime (AEST) on 29 April 2024 via Zoom for an hour! This is a guide that describes all the steps involved in audiobook production - giving you plenty of scenarios where you can identify how you can turn your manuscript/book/memoir/legacy piece into an audiobook. There will also be a 15 minute Question time - so come armed with questions!

Many of you know that audiobooks are the fastest growing area of publishing, which shows no sign of slowing down. It is also highly accessible, and a one-off cost. But there is a lot of misinformation and lack of knowledge about how it all works - the whole pipeline of activities that brings you to the distribution stage where your freshly produced audiobook is uploaded to every sales platform on the planet.
Everything that we have learned in the past two years as professional producers is on the table during this session, plus some take-away material on manuscript preparation, studio set-up, sounds levels, and distributor issues.

By the end of the session you will be richly informed about audiobook production, and able to make decisions about starting the translation of your manuscript into sound. We love it - and we know you can have a great experience in the whole process. No, we won't try and sell you anything - this is entirely no-strings attached. We just believe in story-telling - and want to give out as much information as possible to those who are keen to know more.
