Growing in Product Roles: Balancing Strategic, Operational, and Tactical Work

Inspired by Melissa Perri’s book “Escaping the Build Trap", this meetup focuses on the three levels of product work — Strategic, Operational, and Tactical — and how the balance between them changes as you grow in product roles.

Often seniority is not about doing “more”, but about shifting proportions. Less time spent on tactical execution, more on operational leverage and strategic outcomes.

Participants are welcome to share real examples of how they’ve tried to change this balance in their roles — what they stopped doing, what they delegated, and what helped them gain more strategic influence.

Expect open discussion, practical insights, and new perspectives from fellow product professionals in Leipzig.
