We've learned for many decades, certainly since the start of the consumer-software business, that the way to build products is to have a "genius" idea, and relentless work on it and until is ready to ship, then ship it, make money and be happy. There are even legends about how Apple would only ship when things were "ready". This, however, is a recipe for failure and bankruptcy. In this session you will learn why (and see some examples), products need to be developed exactly the other way around: Sell it, then build it. We will explore reasons and examples in this session.
