Hungarian designer Sara Gulyas has come up with a do-it-yourself footwear solution called Pikkpack Shoes, aiming at cutting down on waste while involving the wearer in the shoe-making process. She and her team chose crowdfunding to test if her design had a place on the market and to reach a worldwide audience. Despite all the risks, the campaign has succeeded. The Pikkpack team will talk about their concept, what their tricks were to a successful Kickstarter campaign and what is next.
