How To Make a Splash with Iterative Design Sprints

Details
Join us for a discussion on how to infuse end user research into the design sprint model to make the most impact. Hosts Jared Jeffers and Taylor Regan will share lessons learned and best practices, end-user research methods, and how to dial in the right level of research into iterative design sprints.
Design sprints are useful for brainstorming ideas and collaborating on potential solutions. They also are effective when testing ideas within a rapid timeframe. However, as a stand-alone exercise, a design sprint lacks proper context. With such a narrow focus, design sprints often produce narrow solutions. It’s vital to include the evaluation criteria and multi-layered understanding that can only be achieved through end user research.
In this session, participants will gain:
Approaches for better defining and framing the problem space
End-user research methods that work well with a design sprint approach
Tips on how to make research and design sprints more iterative
