Talk by Bruce McCarthy, President of the Boston Product Management Association

Hi everyone!

We are truly excited to offer you an opportunity to meet an internationally acclaimed product management authority Bruce McCarthy, President Emeritus and Head of Advisory Board of the Boston Product Management Association. Bruce has helped companies like Oracle, Vistaprint, Localytics, Huawei, Nuance, Zipcar and Johnson & Johnson achieve their product visions. He is a prolific writer, organiser, and internationally sought-after speaker at product management, agile, UX, and innovation events around the world. He is also a regular judge at the Harvard Business School New Venture Competition.

Bruce's talk will focus on Product Culture - a modern set of operating principles adopted by companies like Amazon, Google, Zappos and many other successful businesses of all sizes. It is a shared mindset about why we are in business and how we go about things, that leans heavily on ideas and insights from Agile, Design Thinking, Lean, Jobs-to-Be-Done, Customer Centricity, and Innovation practices but is not limited to any one of them. Product culture is not just for product management or for the tech industry. It emerges when many functions come together with a shared mission to make any company successful by repeatably making customers successful.
