They say that good products earn money, but great ones change the world… We’re excited to welcome discovery experts Ferdinand Goetzen - Co-founder & CEO of Reveall – and Brian Pagán - Founder & UX Consultant at The Greatness Studio to talk about building insights-driven products that really move the needle.
In his talk ’How to get started with product discovery’ Ferdinand will elaborate on leveling-up your product discovery efforts and how teams can successfully make the shift from product delivery to product discovery. In ‘Lean Validation for Meaningful Products’ Brian will talk about the validation steps most companies forget and unpack a framework that will enable any company to build great things.
After each talks we’ll have a short Q&A and afterwards we’ll have plenty of time to mingle and talk product over drinks.
This is an in-person event. We’ll be at Adyen’s Rokin event space - Rokin 49, Amsterdam - all thanks to our sponsor Adyen who is supporting us with the venue, foods & drinks.
We hope to see you all there!
ABOUT THE TALKS
How to get started with product discovery
Ferdinand Goetzen is the CEO & Co-Founder of Reveall, a product discovery platform that helps product teams discover opportunities and effectively align on what to build next. He was previously the Chief Growth Officer at Recruitee and Director of Growth at Hubs (both exited in 2021) and worked extensively with teams at Homerun, ING, Pipedrive, Transavia, and Philips.
In recent years, leading product teams have begun shifting their focus from product delivery towards product discovery. Despite having unprecedented access to customer data and insights, many product teams still struggle to consistently deliver features that have a direct, measurable impact on their strategic goals. Prioritizing discovery has become a proven way for making better, more successful product decisions.
In his talk, Ferdinand will draw from his own experience to share practical, actionable tools, and tips for doing better discovery — no matter the maturity of your team.
Lean Validation for Meaningful Products
Brian Pagán is Founder of The Greatness Studio and over the last 21 years helped companies like Philips, ING, Land Life Company, and WaitWhat turn innovation strategy into award-winning products & services. His book ‘The Creative Empathy Field Guide’ is a practical toolkit for incorporating empathy into any creative process.
In this talk, Brian dives into what MVP (Minimum-Viable Product) really means and will discuss the validation steps most companies forget. Then he’ll introduce the Lean Validation Cheat Sheet and share a story or two from the field.
This is a conversation for startup founders, entrepreneurs, builders, makers, and product people. Folks on the business side will appreciate the cheap but effective tools for learning quickly and managing risk. And the more creative among us have space to look at their work from a broader perspective.
