The power of collaboration: keeping product and UX design teams aligned

Welcome to our May event with amazing speakers from Adyen and Just Eat Takeaway.

We will discuss how to keep product and UX design teams aligned. Although tasked with the same goal of building and shipping a product that’s meaningful and relevant to users, UX designers and product managers approach things differently.

In their talk 'Creating a dream team: how Product and UX can collaborate to build great products,' Hanno, Minchen & Nikki will share some common misunderstandings between Product & UX as well as a workshop framework that they use to improve the collaboration between the two functions. The framework encourages discussions between the PM and designer about their work, collaborative topics, and ownership. Additionally, they will shed some light on what they learned after hosting a dozen of these workshops within Adyen, and what you can take away for your own teams.

The second talk by Hyesung would be on "Designing the future together: Empowering product teams with a shared vision and strategy." Join Hyesung as she shares her experience crafting the vision, mission, and strategy with her product design team, reflecting on the highs, lows, and valuable insights gained. You will gain practical insights for establishing a strong foundation and fostering high-performing product teams during this session.

After each talk, we’ll have a short Q&A, and afterward, we’ll have plenty of time to mingle and talk about building products over drinks.
