we’re excited to finally kick-off season ‘24/’25 with a double-header on Building Great Product Orgs. Two key ingredients - Hiring great product people and Developing great product people internally - will be presented by two local product people.

Vanessa Lee, APM @ Miro will share how Miro’s APM program enables building great product people internally and her experience going through it.
Marco Pfrang, Director of Product @ TomTom, will share his lessons learned when hiring for great product people and the impact they can have on a product org - as well as what to watch out for, whether as interviewer or interviewee.

Building Tomorrow's Product Leaders Today: Lessons from Miro's APM Program (Vanessa Lee)
As the inaugural Associate Product Manager at Miro, Vanessa will share how the APM program is set up and run, why it’s a key ingredient to building Miro’s product org and how it made her and her peers better product people.

How to hire great product people (Marco Pfrang)
In his talk, Marco will share his learnings from hiring great product people, what to watch out for, how to structure hiring & interviewing and (hard) lessons learned.

SPEAKERS
Vanessa Lee is an Associate Product Manager at Miro, where she worked in both Growth and Agile Collaboration teams. Leveraging her diverse background and internship experiences at SAP, EA, Deloitte, Tesla, and Amazon, Vanessa is passionate about using analytical and customer-centric approaches to solve problems.

Marco Pfrang is Director of Product Analytics at TomTom. During his career he hired plenty of PMs in various companies, levels and roles whether it be as Head of Product AI & Analytics at Europe’s biggest classifieds marketplaces at Adevinta or as Global Head for AI & Analytics Products at ING Wholesale Banking after having started his career as Principal Analytics Lead at Google and at BASF Consulting and MLP.
