From Insight to Impact w/ Naman Mathur and Erin Weigel

Details
Hi Product People,
We're back with another exciting ProductTank AMS meetup! This time we’re exploring the theme From Insight to Impact. In an age where building is easier than ever, it’s the quality of our insights - and how we act on them - that determines whether we create real value.
We’re thrilled to welcome Naman Mathur, and Erin Weigel, to share their unique perspectives on de-risking innovation, and designing for impact.
After each talk, there’ll be a short Q&A, followed by plenty of time to connect with fellow product folks over drinks, and bites.
This is an in-person event. We’ll be at Miro’s Headquarters - Fred. Roeskestraat 100, Amsterdam - all thanks to our sponsor Miro who is supporting us with the venue, foods & drinks.
We hope to see many of you there!
ABOUT THE TALKS
De-Risking Innovation: More Important Than Ever with AI?
Naman Mathur is a product builder, and entrepreneur, with a passion for turning early-stage ideas into real-world solutions. He’s currently leading product at Stacks, reimagining the financial close process using AI. Previously he worked at Uber and Target as UX Researcher.
In his talk, Naman will share hard-earned lessons from building multiple 0 to 1 products, focusing on how to de-risk ideas before scaling. You’ll learn how to identify your most critical assumptions, run lean experiments, get insights, and avoid the hidden traps that can derail good ideas in an era where building has never been easier - or more deceptive.
Design for Impact: Rally Your Team Around a Process that Drives Growth
Erin Weigel is a design leader focused on experimentation, design systems, and accessibility. She spent 9 years as Principal Designer at Booking.com and Product Design Manager at Deliveroo. Erin is also the author of the book Design for Impact: Your Guide to Designing Effective Product Experiments.
In her talk, Erin will share the Conversion Design process - a practical approach that puts experimentation at the heart of product design to drive informed decisions, and real results. She’ll also introduce the Good Experimental Design toolkit: a set of templates that helps teams craft trustworthy experiments you can actually learn from.
