#25: ProductTank Berlin is back!

So it is: a mere 1042 days since our last physical meetup, ProductTank Berlin is back and IN-PERSON!

We’re bringing you two great speakers to explore product development from two contrasting angles. Ira Wissel from Flink will explain how to nurture a continuous customer feedback process, while Marc Lamik from Moonfare will share his insights into exploring the solution space, and leveraging what you already have available.

After the talks, we will hold an open forum to hear from you: what do you want from your local ProductTank? As work has become increasingly remote, we think it’s a perfect moment to revisit what we do as a community.

About our speakers:

Marc Lamik, VP of Product and Data at Moonfare
As one of the first product managers to join Zalando - then only a small Berlin startup - in 2010, Marc has been in charge of building up the product and product teams for their in-house built ecommerce platform. He led the expansion of their international Tech Hubs and has been an integral part of the businesses' growth and unrivaled success from the very beginning. His last step at Zalando, now a highly successful public company, was to assume the role of Managing Director of their Lisbon Tech hub.

Marc assumed the role of Director of Product at Cloudflare in the spring of 2020, building Cloudflare’s Lisbon product management team to solve some of the Internet's biggest problems. In July 2022 Marc joined Moonfare as VP of Product and Data working on the democratization of alternative investments. Based out of Lisbon but a frequent visitor in Berlin, Marc is working with the Moonfare R&D team on the next big thing.

Marc is a proud father, coffee lover, angel investor and shameless early adopter of overpriced electronic gadgets.

Ira Wissel, Product Lead at Flink
Ira’s background is in marketing and community management. She spent several years building community and customer engagement strategies for Tandem - leading language exchange platform and consulting other companies on the topics of community communication. This experience helped her to make a natural and smooth transition into a Product Management role.

After working for a couple of years on product growth at Tandem, Ira moved into the delivery industry. At Delivery Hero, Ira was responsible for Order tracking functionality used by millions of users across multiple countries. Currently, Ira is a Product Lead at Flint and responsible for the entire Order experience domain.

In her talk she will share her approach to customer feedback, as well as the tools and strategies she uses to build effective feedback loops and gather continuous customers feedback.
