About Shawn

Like many Product Managers, my career in product has been shaped by both personal and professional experiences

My first career in advertising and digital agencies taught me the art of connecting the “value” of a product with the market it serves.

My many years serving as a lay pastor to a thousand member evangelical church taught me the power of servant leadership and inspiring people to action.

My subsequent journey to apostasy taught me how to make principled decisions based on new data and information.

The adoption of my two boys, one of whom is ASD has taught me most of what I know about patience, inclusion, identity and, of course, love.

Then, there’s the work.

I cut my teeth building both customer and internal-facing software for a number of clients in Entertainment, Financial Services and Media at a company I co-founded. Since then, I’ve led the Product function at three venture-backed startups, one acquired by GoDaddy in 2020.

I‘m a vision and design-driven product person, with strong strategic capabilities, proficient product-design chops and a track record of building high-output cross-functional teams.
