Tamir Shklaz will share learnings from the journey through Y-Combinator, how this has shaped his thinking as a Product leader, where Strive Math is today, and what’s next 🚀.

Tamir is co-founder of Strive Math, a YC-backed startup that teaches kids mathematics through coding, in live online 1:1 classes. Tamir is also the founder of South Africa’s largest second-hand textbook marketplace, which he started and scaled while studying a full-time degree in electrical and computer engineering at the University of Cape Town.

Higgo van Biljon will focus on “Going from 0 to 0.5” - the journey from getting started to product market fit.

Higgo is the founder of FinMeUp, a financial education platform designed to empower users to take ownership of their financial wellbeing. He previously co-founded Hundle, a peer-to-peer rental marketplace, as well as Happy Hour SA, an alcohol delivery app. Outside of his entrepreneurial endeavours, he is passionate about making music, investing and adventure.

Ahren is the CEO of Momint, a web3.0, social media marketplace, and is passionate about onboarding and launching global Impact blockchain and Web3.0 projects. His track record includes Investec Entrepreneur Leader of the year (2016), Mail & Guardian's top 200 Young South Africans Editor's Choice for Innovation (2020), GQ innovator of the year (2021), and presenter at the JSE (Johannesburg Stock Exchange) on breaking the walls of code and poverty in South Africa.
