ProductTank Dublin is back for our first get-together of the year! This time we're kindly hosted by Zalando in their Dublin HQ. Mark your calendars for Thursday March 21st—as we start with a bang with one of our most impressive lineups to date.

A CPO, A Head of Product, A Senior PM and a Director of Product. No they don’t walk into a bar, they’re joining our ProductTank panel to dive into the ever topical: "Product Principles: The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly".

4 of Dublin’s brightest product minds with a plethora of experience between them will share their real-world stories of triumphs and trials, offering valuable lessons on navigating the precarious balance of theory vs real world product management.

Marty Cagan framed the PM oath to discover that which is valuable, feasible, viable, and usable. Yet, as we know, the journey from theory to practice is fraught with complexity and unpredictability.

Moderated by our very own co-organiser Ben, our panel promises to be more than a discussion, but a candid real-world PM masterclass.

Meet the panelists:
Evelyn Balfe PhD, Head of Product @ Outmin
Evelyn is the Head of Product at Outmin, an AI accountancy startup focusing on the hospitality industry. She has a PhD in Artificial Intelligence and 18 years' experience in the technology industry in Ireland and Australia, including 12 years’ product management experience. Previous roles include Group Product Manager at HubSpot and Head of Product roles at Phorest Salon Software and SEEK Australia. Evelyn has worked across various industries and team sizes, from HubSpot with 40 product teams to SEEK where there were 20 she is now at Outmin where she is the sole product person in the company!

Stephen Culligan, Chief Product Officer, Prommt
Stephen is CPO Dublin based payments start-up, Prommt. Having led the core product at a couple of fintech startups, Stephen believes that the best products release hourly, talk to users daily and always value impact over delivery. As a leader he’s now determined to move away from unhelpful language around ‘sales-led’ or ‘product-led’ approaches and focus on how to build sustainable cross-functional leadership relationships which leads to healthy company growth.

Becky Byrne, Director of Product, Phorest
With a foundation in product management cultivated in B2B product development at Openet and Brite:Bill, Becky has worked with some of the world’s largest telecoms and communications service providers, including AT&T, T-Mobile/Sprint and Comcast. Her experience at Zalando, as Head of Product for Digital Experience, Customer Profile and Personalisation, further solidified a commitment to driving customer-centric initiatives. Currently serving as the Director of Product Management at Phorest Salon Software, Becky works with teams dedicated to developing cutting-edge solutions for the salon industry.

Vlad Kuchkanov, Senior Product Manager, Zalando
Vlad is a Senior Product Manager with 5+ years of experience in Enterprise SaaS and in-house AI-enhanced products. Prior to his career shift, he has had a successful career in business analytics in some of the world's most admired FMCG companies like Anheuser-Busch InBev, Philip Morris International, and Mars Inc. Vlad is a frequent keynote speaker & guest lecturer on product management and pricing at conferences and educational events.
