Product Tank March 2019

We are looking forward to hosting the next Product Tank East Midlands in Leicester and with yet another inspiring lineup.

Rob Hough, UX/UI Designer at Mindera UK will be giving a talk around how creativity is a fundamental skill for any business. That often in tech companies only a selected few are seen as creative. He explains the truth is everyone is creative. We're just out of practice.

Followed by Adam Warburton, Head of Product at The Coop. Details of his talk will be as follows;

In work, we focus on making sure we craft a vision for our product, that we understand the market and we make sure our products met user needs. We measure, learn and iterate them too. With our careers, seemingly many of us just take opportunities that are presented to them by random, luckily timed LinkedIn messages. We wouldn't manage our products by serendipity; why our careers? This talk is about how to structure your career development using tools and techniques we're already familiar with, so that you can intentfully have the career path you want.

We are keen to also spend time getting to know our network and making new connections.

7.00pm - Adam Warburton
7.15pm - Lean coffee (http://leancoffee.org/) and general socialising
8.00pm - Close
