About Daniel Knott
Daniel loves digital products with high quality being web or native mobile applications. He has been working in the IT industry for almost 20 years with experience in hands-on software testing for desktop, web and mobile applications. He also worked as product manager for mobile and web products. At the moment, Daniel is working as an IT manager as Head of Engineering, helping software development teams ship great products with high quality.
Daniel wrote two books - Hands-On Mobile App Testing and Smartwatch App Testing and is a frequent blogger at www.adventuresinqa.com and conference speaker. In 2022 he also created his YouTube Channel about Software Testing which has grown to more than 100k subscribers.

From Code to Strategy: A Journey of Engineering, Angel Investment and Product Leadership
In her talk, Yenny will share the experiences that shaped her journey from software engineer to VP of Product. Starting in engineering, she gained firsthand insight into what it takes to build scalable software and manage the ongoing costs of maintaining and expanding product portfolios. Transitioning into management, she discovered the value of coaching and active listening, which paved the way for navigating intricate stakeholder relationships in a product role. As a Director of Engineering, she balanced the fine line between product goals and engineering realities. Her experience as an angel investor provided her with a strategic perspective on building sustainable businesses—understanding investor expectations and identifying key metrics. Each role contributed unique skills and perspectives, enriching her approach to product leadership. Today, she will share this journey with everyone.

Yenny Cheung is the Vice President of Product at charles, Europe’s leading WhatsApp conversational AI and CRM solution. Previously, she led engineering and product teams at RapidAPI, Rasa, and Yelp, focusing on API devtools, conversational AI, and ad tech, respectively. Originally from Hong Kong and now based in Germany, Yenny specializes in B2B SaaS and has a proven track record in leading up-market transformations within startups.
