Product Management is hard. No question about it. Which makes managing product teams even harder. Not only do PMs need to manage the product development team (engineers, QAs, project managers, etc) but there is also the team of PMs (lead PM, PM, associate PM, etc).
We've invited two fantastic product leaders, Ridzwan (Director Product Management at NinjaVan) and Willy (Principal Product Manager at Blbli.com), to share their lessons learned on building and managing great product team.

Much has been said about the concept of product squads, made popular by companies like Spotify and Netflix. The hypothesis being that squads - small, flexible teams that are responsible for the end-to-end delivery of each product - enable autonomous teams to exist, encouraging ownership and predictable project velocity.
In this conversation Ridzwan seeks to demonstrate the adoption of squads in SEA startup organizations, the maturity and effectiveness of the implementations. He will end off the talk with his recommendations on how you as a product leader can decide if this is the right move for your organization.

As one of the co-founders of Product Tank Jakarta, Willy's passion for Product Management is unquestionable. During his time as product manager, Willy has been exposed to multiple practices such as payment, fintech, loyalty and e-commerce.
With the experience that he accumulated, he is entrusted with the role of Principal Product Manager in Blibli.com to lead the core system and data analytic team. With his vision, Willy’s aim is to harness the numbers and facts as the number one weapon for Blibli.com.
