**Katie Bakewell**
 
Katie Bakewell serves as a VP of AI Strategy at NLP Logix, where she joined as the second employee in 2013. Katie has led key projects supporting organizations including the Kids Hope Alliance and the Florida Poison Information Center Networks. She possesses extensive expertise across multiple industries, including human resources, financial services, and healthcare. Her accomplishments include the successful implementation of numerous machine learning projects in these fields.
In addition to her professional work, Katie is deeply committed to education and community service. She co-founded the NLP Logix Data Science Boot Camp that has been running for 10 years, teaching data science to over 50 rising high school seniors in Duval County. She also volunteers as guardian ad litem, serves on the Nonprofit Center of Northeast Florida Board, the Community First Community Advisory Council, and has served as a sherpa for Florida Data Science for Social Good since its inception. 
Katie holds a Master's degree in Mathematics and dual Bachelor's degrees in Math and Statistics from the University of North Florida. She enthusiastically supports all local sports teams (Lets go Jags, Icemen, Shrimp, and Sharks!).
 
**Ben Webster**
Ben Webster is the VP of AI Solutions at NLP Logix, where he was the company’s first employee. With over 11 years at the company, Ben has led hundreds of machine learning projects across various industries, driving innovation and delivering impactful AI solutions. Notably, he has played a key role in automating audio and language processes for the largest healthcare patient survey provider in the U.S. and delivering AI-driven solutions for multiple organizations within the human resources sector. Ben’s groundbreaking work in language modeling earned him a patent, further cementing his position as a leader in the AI field.
Originally from Baltimore, MD, Ben has lived in Jacksonville since 2024, where he has become an active community advocate, particularly in educational initiatives. He volunteers for programs like UNF's Data Science for Social Good, NLP Logix's Analytics Boot Camp, and collaborates with Edward Waters University to help shape the growth of its technology department.
Ben holds a Master's degree in Mathematics from the University of North Florida. In 2023, he was named one of the Jacksonville Business Journal's Ultimate Tech Leaders.
