• João Montenegro: Head of Product & Co-Founder @ubbu
  Talk Title: The curse of the product - how products can build companies but also ruin them

João Montenegro is a Product Designer and Manager, currently Head of Product at ubbu.
Native to high-tech and design, João’s motto is to better the world by humanizing technology. He has designed, developed, and launched new products with startups since he was studying in university, where he later was invited to teach Project in Design. His journey into the startup ecosystem has moved him through company builders and VCs, to building his own product design studio, and eventually joining Code For All to help kickstart ubbu.

When he is not designing 3d printers, vehicles, and digital products & services, João spends his time doing amateur astronomy in inhospitable places, talking about the future with friends, and reading Nat Geo magazine.

  Talk Title: Product Management Mindset

Software Engineer turned into Entrepreneur and Product Manager that love to achieve business goals by solving customer problems and building software people love.

Managing Engineering and Product teams for over 15 years, after 5 years as a Developer, Marcelino believe in a leadership that goes above and beyond, bringing solid vision, strategy, goals, methods and a highly motivated team.

Currently, leading and scaling several Platform Product Teams at Talkdesk with a great team of Product Managers, Product Designers and over 100 engineers.

Some of my products have been featured in Springwise, Fortune, the New York Times and Huffington Post.
