Hi Product People!

After a 2 years pause (for well-known reasons...), we are back!!! And what could be a better comeback if not with an amazing panel of international speakers, both part of the founding team of Mind the Product and ProductTank community!

The timing to return couldn't also be better. We'll be officially kicking off the Santos celebrations in Lisbon with an after-event party 🎏 🥳

Join us! RSVP asap as the spots are limited, and help us by sharing the word with your friends!

Speakers

  • James Mayes spent his first 15 years building high-performance technology teams for startups, tech giants and the banking world. From there, he moved into startups, joining the founding team of Mind the Product. He’s spent the last twelve years growing the firm into one of the most recognised and respected brands in the Product Management space, with conferences in five cities, meetups in over 200, and an enviable blue chip client list. The firm was acquired by Pendo in February 2022, where James remains heavily involved as an Evangelist for the Product Management discipline and especially Product-Led Growth.
  • Janna Bastow is the inventor of the Now/Next/Later roadmap and is co-founder and CEO of ProdPad, product management and roadmapping software for product people. Janna is also co-founder of ProductTank and Mind the Product, the global community of product managers. She often starts and stops conversations with the question: “What problem are you trying to solve?”

Talks

  • State of Product Leadership, Europe Edition" by James Mayes
James will be presenting key findings from a recent research report on the State of Product Leadership in Europe. We'll look at some data on how the product function is growing in influence, but is also taking on wider responsibilities. Smart use of data is becoming ever more important in reporting and decision-making. As CEO of Mind the Product, James will also speak briefly about the organisation's recent acquisition by Pendo, what that means for the future of ProductTank, and is happy to take questions!
  • The Skinny on Lean Roadmapping and OKRs" by Janna Bastow
In this talk, Janna will look at modern roadmapping best practices, including where lean roadmapping came from and how to put it to use in your organization. You’ll learn practical tips on how to move away from old school feature and date-driven roadmaps, and how to move your team on to a leaner, more objective-focused track of product management using OKRs.
