Mirela Mus // Transforming Product Organizations: Beyond the Buzzwords
Growth money is gone, AI hype is everywhere, and your product team has to prove it can increase reach/revenue or save costs. Product People Founder Mirela Mus cuts through the noise and shows you exactly how to turn “outputs” into real outcomes: money made, money saved, and lots of momentum gained. You’ll discover why most transformations flop and fail, three clear playbooks for different business types, and simple ways to win faster—all delivered in plain language with zero fluff. If you’re ready to rebuild the plane while you fly it and come out ahead, this session is for you.
About Mirela

Talk #2
Johannes Bückle // From Commands to Conversations: BMW's Journey to an AI Voice Assistant
BMW's Intelligent Personal Assistant started as a classic voice interface in 2018. In the past two years, the team has transformed it into a fully conversational, LLM-powered companion. Every step of that journey has challenged how they manage, build, test, and ship product. Johannes shares the story of taking an in-car assistant from command-based voice control to natural dialogue: what it took to run a GenAI beta in the US, how the team is navigating the shift from experimentation to productization, and the lessons learned about adapting product development, rethinking UX assumptions, and finding the right tuning levers for LLM behavior in a safety-critical environment. Expect an honest look at what it means to roll out AI iteratively when the stakes - and the user base are massive.
About Johannes
Johannes is Head of Product Development for the Intelligent Personal Assistant Platform at BMW Group, where he leads 20+ engineers, PMs, and functional owners across Munich, Portugal, and India. He and his team are responsible for the voice interface across all BMW, MINI, and Rolls-Royce vehicles worldwide and is now driving the shift to LLM-powered conversation. Before returning to BMW, Johannes was Head of Product in fast moving scaleups like Sono Motors and held product leadership roles in mobility services. He also coaches product managers on the intersection of hardware and software. He's obsessed with the question of how you transform product development when the technology underneath becomes non-deterministic.
