Our next ProductTank Newcastle is taking place on Wednesday 19th April. We’re looking forward to welcoming you all again to the Oak offices within Generator Studios for a great talk and discussion on what being a music journalist taught Toby Rogers about Product management.

Location: The Oak Engage Office within Generator StudiosTrafalgar St, Newcastle upon Tyne NE1 2LA.

The agenda will be as follows:
18:00 – Doors Open, food and drinks
18:15 – Talk and discussion
19:30 – Drinks and chance to chat
20:00 – Retire to a bar

Title: What being a music journalist taught me about Product Management

Synopsis: Hanging out backstage with musicians does not seem like the ideal training ground for product management but there are a lot of similarities between writing articles people want to read and building products people want to use. Both are about engaging and delighting your end users. In this talk, Toby Rogers, Head of Product at Hedgehog Lab will be speaking about his experience in the backstage dressing rooms and the most valuable lessons learned that have helped him as a journalist turned Product Manager.
