Working in Product management is great, right? What is ever greater is to join a company where one can start his/her own product department or create product management (best) practices. Our three speakers have all been there and are eager to share what are the challenges involved in this undertaking.

Michal Smetana is an experienced product leader and advisor, currently managing the Pipedrive Prague product team as a Lead Product Manager. He was the first product person in the Prague office and will share what it’s like to start a new office and a product organization in an international company and what are the challenges that come with that.

Pavel Jirsák is a seasoned Product Manager who has experience with leading PM teams in various companies. Some of those companies did not have a product mindset when Pavel joined so he took it on himself to create such a mindset and change the company culture.

Evan Sendra joined STRV 2 years back as a project manager. After seven months, he became Head of the whole product department. Growing the team of product and project managers from 3 to 9. He would like to share what are the challenges in hiring world class Product managers.
