Welcome back to our first in-person event in 2 years!

We will kick things off with a deep-dive on Product Strategy. David Wang – Group Product Manager at Linktree – and Mandar Karlekar – Co-founder of Product consultancy Product Rocket – are two people many in the ecosystem might know, and during this event they share a bunch of their learnings and tools that helped them succeed.

=== Talk #1: A Culture of Product Discovery: Always on, at scale ===

Consulting has provided Mandar with the opportunity to observe common traits in high performing teams. In this talk he'll highlight the value of Continuous Discovery and creating a Culture that facilitates it. The result is an empowered, customer centric, innovative organisation thats aligned on vision and strategy. He calls it the 'Always on, at scale mindset' to never run out of great ideas again.

About Mandar

Mandar Karlekar says his love for Product began in the call centres of IBM almost 20 years ago. This is also where he taught himself how to code. Armed with the technical know-how and deep customer empathy, Mandar took on various roles in Product & Tech to eventually end up in Product Management.

He is the Co-Founder & Product Consultant at Product Rocket where he works as a Trainer, Coach and Consultant to some of Australia's biggest businesses. He also offers his services as a business advisor and startup mentor. Any time not working he spends with his wife and 2 young kids (2 and 4).

David Wang is a global product leader with 15+ years of experience building products for companies of all sizes from start-ups, scale-ups and large corporates. Currently, Dave is the Group Product Manager at Linktree looking after Linktree’s core platform.

In his spare time, he operates an online Product Management school Product Academy helping people find a fulfilling career in Product Management. To date, he's taught over 4,000 students globally, and developed classes for General Assembly, Harvard Innovation Labs, and EntryLevel. His classes have helped hundreds of people find a fulfilling careers in Product Management.
