ProductTank Victoria - Fall Meetup

Hi Product People!!

We are so excited to host an in-person event again! This event will be taking place at the Redbrick Head Office in Victoria, BC as well as on Zoom starting at 5:45 pm (https://rdbrck.zoom.us/j/95631385801).

Food will be provided by our main sponsor for the evening, Redbrick. Our long time drink provider will once again be Swans Pub.

We have two incredible speakers for the evening.

• Bryan Clark - Product Lead for Timescale Cloud
• Dave Firnstahl - Director of Product at Leadpages

Our first speaker will be one of our ProductTank Victoria founders, Bryan Clark. Bryan has had several senior product roles with Mozilla, GitHub and now with TimeScale. His talk is on alignment.

Often as Product Managers grow and gain experience they seek ownership or independence over their area of responsibility. While ownership is a good thing I'm going to talk about how alignment is far more important for you and your team.

Our second speaker, Dave Firnstahl, is the Director of Product of Leadpages based out of Minneapolis.

Dave Firnstahl - Product Led Growth
He will be discussing their problem first approach to product led growth and how they are using it to find a solution to help their customers overcome their fear of copywriting.
