Virtual Product Tank - Feb 2021

Hello Yorkshire Product Tank-ers,

We hope you are all well and feel well overdue a dose of Product Tank as we are happy to announce a second virtual event coming at the end of the month.

We're continuing the fireside chat format as it went down so well in October, but are also excited to bring you a tried and tested talk from Product Tank Amsterdam.

18:30- 18:40 Dial in and Intro

Sli.do Q&A Interface: https://app.sli.do/event/iemjssiz

18:40 - 19:30 Fireside chat with Graeme Aldington - Head of Product (Sky Bet)

Interested in lean principles, collaboration and experimentation?

With over 10 years experience in Product, Graeme currently leads the Product Teams as Head of Product for Sky Bet. His background as a Business Analyst and strong advocacy for lean principles and collaboration have developed a highly successful product function, and an industry-leading customer experience within the the sector.

Sharing learning and practical insights, he's going to be a great brain to pick. Get your questions ready!

19:30 - 20:20 Presentation from Gino Toro - Product Manager (Ably)

Gino has been an Engineer and a Product Manager in many domains, and is joining us with a tried and tested presentation he ran at Product Tank Amsterdam.

He believes that Product Managers often find their job overwhelming, emotionally taxing and heavy on politics. How can we overcome these challenges and have a healthy mind? Gino wants to strip away the tools, processes, and techniques of product management and focus on the most important part of product management, you.

Imagine a world where we all had superpowers? Like all superhero stories, we have an origin story, then become the hero and face our arch-nemesis. Gino will share a personal story about self-development, self-deception, and self-discipline while facing his ultimate arch-nemesis.

20:20-20:30 Wrap Up

We are looking forward to seeing familiar names (and hopefully faces) as always. Please invite friends along and share the event on social media. We will be using sli.do to collect questions, so it will be a very interactive and relaxed event.

See you soon,
Gill & Soffia
