Another top notch new route, train/bus travel friendly, with plenty of nice scenery. Even in winter, life is good!
Logistics:
Meet: 10:05 check-in, to start within 5-10 minutes, or earlier if all visible are ready.
Distance: Around 9 miles
Start Point: Atherstone Station Street public car park
Parking: The carpark is P&D, or allow 10 minutes extra if hoping to park street side or to walk from train/bus stations

Terrain: Various landscapes, including towpath, woodland/forest, managed tracks, with 2 high viewing points, but minimal ascent.

As with any outdoor activity, there is some inherent risk. Whilst we aim to avoid unnecessary risks, participants should take all reasonable precautions themselves. A suitable pace for the walk will be determined by the walk leader, which others must observe by keeping in visible distance, not forging ahead or lagging behind. Those attending are totally responsible for their own safety. You must be comfortable walking the specified distance in order to attend please.

Places are not unlimited, so withdrawing in the last 24 hours is not allowed. Attendances shouldn't be compromised by ghosting (no-shows, late withdrawals, and uncommitted waitlisting) so reliable attendees will take priority at future events.
