## Day Trip to Shrewsbury
Come and join us for a relaxed day trip around Shrewsbury. We’ll visit some of the key sights in this beautiful historic town, stop for lunch, and enjoy a drink or two along the way.
Shrewsbury can be reached directly by train from Birmingham New Street Station, making it an easy day out from Birmingham.
We’re a friendly and inclusive group, and newcomers are always very welcome.
I’ll have a rough plan for the day, although I may make a few small changes depending on timings, weather and group numbers.
12:00–1:00pm – Meet and mingle at The Royal Oak
1:00–2:30pm – Explore some of Shrewsbury’s main sights,
including the castle grounds, exterior of Shrewsbury Prison, town centre, Darwin Statue and Library
2:30–3:30pm – Lunch at Bella Napoli
Depending on numbers, we may need to split into smaller groups for lunch.
From 3:30pm – Final drinks and then people are free to head home or continue exploring Shrewsbury.
Come along for a sociable afternoon of sightseeing, food and drinks.
