Creative nature walk: Documenting patterns

On BC Day, enjoy a creative nature walk through Burnaby Lake Park. As we walk, we'll look for patterns in the tree canopy, tree trunks, leaves, wildflowers and plants. Bring some crayons, pastels or charcoal and paper to make rubbings or drawings of what you see. I'll bring some extra charcoal to share.

We'll walk at a leisurely pace with lots of stops for observation, documentation and conversation.

Be sure to bring a water bottle and snack, as well as sun protection.
