Talk 1: A Look at Array Languages
Abstract: This talk will take a look at a single simple programming problem and solutions to it in different array languages (APL, BQN & J). It will highlight some of the important language features in array languages and show how the languages differ.
Speaker: Conor Hoekstra, Research Scientist, NVIDIA
Bio: Conor is a programming language enthusiast, avid array language fan and host of ArrayCast. Longer bio at https://www.linkedin.com/in/conorhoekstra/

Talk 2: Wielding APL in the real world
Abstract: APL is mostly renowned for its beautiful notation. This is indeed important, and the first step to draw you into the language. But what if you want to do more than write a simple expression? This talk will show you some of the tooling Dyalog has built on top of the notation. Ways to ingest different data sources, so you can run your APL code against them, will be shown. Finally, a real commercial application, 100% written in APL, will be shown.
Speaker: Josh David, APL Programming Consultant, Dyalog
Bio: Josh is an APL Consultant who works with APL in production environments. Longer bio at https://www.linkedin.com/in/josh-david-449369165/
--------------
Talk 3: Seven Deployments in 7x5 Minutes
Abstract: In the space of half an hour, Morten will demonstrate how to deploy the same simple APL application in a variety of different ways, from use in an interactive APL session via desktop GUI applications to a containerised web service and a web server.
Speaker: Morten Kromberg, CTO, Dyalog
Bio: Morten has been an APL developer for more that 40 years. Since 2005, he has been the CTO of Dyalog Ltd. Longer bio at https://www.dyalog.com/blog/about-the-cto/
