What we’re about
PSP is a social group for Liberal and Progressive singles. Meet like-minded people who share your beliefs! We're not trying to be a dating site... just provide a social avenue for liberal-minded folks and events where you wont feel awkward because its mostly couples... or a bunch of MAGA's.
This is a social group first, so we have a mix of purely social events plus some advocacy and cause-related events. We especially get active around voting cycles to help elect smart people.
PLEASE submit your ideas for making this meaningful and I'll certainly need help with suggestions and creating events and event hosts. And please message me with ideas for the types of events you would like to see.
It's hard enough to find someone compatible, so while we're looking for "the one", let's at least have some fun and meet new friends who share our dissatisfaction with the current political climate and share our passion for freedom, civil liberties and social equality.

•OnlinePA Judicial Elections Are Now Through November 4, 2025
OnlineVoting has started! Every Vote Counts! Time is of the essence!
The upcoming election on November 4, 2025 is extremely important for Pennsylvanians that support democratic principles, and both a rational and sane approach to the rule of law.
At stake are majority positions on Pennsylvania’s Supreme, Superior and Commonwealth Courts. These are ten-year terms that will affect judicial outcomes in Pennsylvania for decades. All of these Judicial candidates support Women's Rights, Workers Rights, Equity for All, Education, Voting Rights and in all likelihood many other things you feel should be protected.
The Judiciary can be one of the best ways of reigning in the worst excesses of the Legislative and Executive branches of government. Something that is sorely lacking at the National level.
The PA Supreme is the highest Court in Pennsylvania and is directly elected by the people of Pennsylvania. The Supreme Court currently has a 5-2 Democratic majority. This election there are three Democratic Supreme Court Justices up for retention
If even one fails to be retained … we can see the outcome in whats going on with the US Supreme court.

Justice Kevin Dougherty - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kevin_Dougherty
Justice David Wecht - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/David_Wecht
The PA Superior Court, is the court that hears appeals in both Criminal and Civil cases for Individuals and Businesses and Non-Profits. The Pennsylvania Superior Court currently consists of 15 judges, with 8 Democrats and 6 Republicans, plus one vacant seat as of October, 2025.
Judge Brandon Neuman, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brandon_Neuman , is running for the vacant Superior Court seat.
Judge Alice Beck Dubow, https://www.pacourts.us/courts/superior-court/superior-court-judges/judge-alice-beck-dubow, is running for retention.
The PA Commonwealth Court has jurisdiction over administrative and civil public law. This includes things like regulations related to environmental issues.
Judge Tsai, https://stellaforjudge.com/about/ , is running for a vacant Commonwealth Court seat.
Judge Mike Wojcik, https://www.pacourts.us/courts/commonwealth-court-judges/judge-michael-h-wojcik, is running for retention.
This nine-judge court currently has a 5-3 Republicans majority. A win for both would change that to 5-4

If you have time, consider volunteering to canvass, phone or text bank. Yesterday I was out canvassing with the Allegheny County Democratic Committee, https://alleghenydems.com/volunteer. Nice two-hour walk, meeting the neighbours and making a difference.
