Get COOL Watching SUPERMAN this Saturday at Gurnee Mills!

Yes, it’s a Purely Social MOVIE NIGHT. We have not done that in a long time. (not since the Barbie movie – which I really liked) Superman is getting interesting reviews, so my friend suggested seeing it. Some people are drawing a parallel of the plot to current political happenings. I’m not sure if that is a big stretch – we can only watch to see!

Currently, Superman is playing at MARCUS THEATRES in the Gurnee Mills Mall. I am aiming for us to see the 7pm showing this upcoming Saturday evening. I will have to wait until this Tuesday to see if they change the times of the showings, because they sometimes DO change show times each Tuesday. But I’m aiming for the 6-7pm time range. YOU’LL SEE AN UPDATE HERE OF THE EXACT TIME AFTER TUESDAY.

Superman is showing in the more “regular” theatre, and the price for seniors in those seats is $11. ($13 if you’re under 60) The kid told me for ‘senior’, they mean anyone over 60 and that they DON’T check IDs. I think my wrinkles will be proof enuf. If you’re in your 50s, I bet you could pass for a ‘senior’ at this theatre.

To find me, you would go to Gurnee Mills Mall and then enter the entrance that specifically says “MARCUS THEATRES”. You can’t mistake it. It will take you directly into where you’d buy and/or offer your ticket. I will be waiting there from about 6:30 in that inside lobby, or possibly buying a refreshment.

I plan to buy my ticket the Friday before that Saturday to avoid having the theatre fill up on me (which they said is unlikely). You have to buy your own ticket & I’m not sure if we can get all of our seats together. Some of you might want to buy your ticket online ahead of time at www.marcustheatres.com. At this moment, I don’t know if they try to seat people together. Then AFTER the movie, we can pop into the McDonald’s lobby just around the mall to sit down and talk about it. The McDonald’s lobby should be open until at least 10pm.

SO COME OUT OLD & NEW MEMBERS!! We have not seen you in a while! We’ll stay cool & see if THIS Superman lives up to our expectations!!
