BRASS FROM THE PAST Band this Saturday outside in Fox Lake!!

I JUST discovered that BRASS FROM THE PAST band is playing this Saturday in Fox Lake at the Fox Lake Lakefront. They play from 6:30pm to 8:30pm. I plan to go & will hang around until 9pm anyway. The band will play many hits you know from your entire adulthood, often focusing on Motown, some Jazzy, some Funky tunes & more. Their music is VERY danceable, so I will likely be wiggling in some fashion. Personally, I think they are an excellent band.

They are playing at the Bandshell in Fox Lake, which is right on the lakefront - a very pretty park setup. There is usually seating on concrete "chairs" made for the public, at the picnic tables, or you can bring your own chair. To be safe - maybe bring your chair in your car - just in case it fills up.

Fox Lake is apparently having a full day of fun that day with other activities before this band. But I don't plan to be there before 6:30 - at the picnic tables. There might be fireworks after the band, but I don't know that for sure. Plan to be there for the band & I plan to be there until 9pm to enjoy the pretty lakefront lake & scenery after the band is done.

PARKING?? There are a bunch of spots right there at the lakefront, but I don't know whether they'd fill up before you get there. If you can't find a spot in that lot, you can check some of the strip malls very close by. If you end up parking in a strip mall, you might have to walk a block or 2 to the lakefront. Last time I went, I parked in a close by strip mall & just told the business there I was leaving my car for 2 hours - and had NO PROBLEM. That's the best I can do on the parking!!

SO COME JOIN US!! Bring a chair in your car - just in case the seating fills up. I also advise using some bug spray as the chiggers are out this time of year & they really like my legs.
